What is the Center for LGBTQ Evidence-Based Research (CLEAR)?

The Center for Excellence in Diversity at Palo Alto University (PAU) is an organization that coordinates and promotes activities related to diversity. The center was established in September 2010 and focuses on diversity in many areas, including gender, LGBTQ, and ethnic minority issues. 
 
PAU's Inclusive Excellence Framework defines diversity as the meaningful representation of groups that are underrepresented in higher education. It also defines equity as the intentional investment of institutional resources to ensure that outcomes are not different based on sociocultural identity.
