What is PAU’s Academic Freedom policy?
PAU's academic freedom policy protects the freedom of inquiry, research, teaching, expression, and publication.
Palo Alto University's Academic Freedom policy ensures that faculty members have the right to teach, conduct research, and express ideas without undue restriction. The administration supports academic freedom as long as it aligns with legal and ethical standards. The policy also states that grades must be based solely on academic performance and not on unrelated criteria.
